Grand Bank has been alerted to a scam taking place among community bank customers that involves debit cards. An unknown source is dialing cell phones, telling customers their debit cards have been inactivated and prompting them to give out their debit card number.
Grand Bank warns customers to hang up should they receive such a call. If customers inadvertently give out their debit card numbers, they need to call Grand Bank immediately to have their debit card cancelled and reissued.
